We play together with the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity

This year, once again, we are supporting the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity and the organization of collections. Autostrada Wielkopolska not only has donated funds to the GOCC Headquarters at the Poznań University of Technology, but also enabled the volunteers of the Headquarters to travel free of charge to the Orchestra’s Headquarters in Warsaw.

On Sunday, 29th of January, the 31st finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity will be held. Autostrada Wielkopolska SA, which became a Partner of the GOCC Headquarters operating at the Poznań University of Technology, joined the campaign again.

This year’s GOCC final will be launched with the slogan “We want to win against sepsis! We play for big and small”, and the money collected during the campaign will be entirely spent on:
• appliances for the identification of microorganisms using Maldi TOF type mass spectrometry
• multiplex PCR analyzers for molecular diagnostics for the identification of microorganisms along with the determination of drug resistance
• analyzers for detecting amplification products of bacteria and fungi and for determining resistance mechanisms using magnetic resonance technology
• automated culture systems for microbiological samples
• systems for automatic drug susceptibility designation using the microdilution method
• laminar chambers for microbiological laboratories

The GOCC finale is a one-day public collection organized by the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation. For many years, the GOCC Finale has also been accompanied by Internet campaigns and closed events, which start at the beginning of December.
