Announcement involving passage difficulties due to renovation on Poznań Krzesiny Interchange within S11 trunk road (Krzywoustego Street)

Due to pavement renovation works on S11 trunk road on a section crossing Poznań Beltway (Poznań Krzesiny Interchange) there would be passage difficulties and changes in foregoing traffic system.

1. On the 21st of September the whole west route of S11 trunk road was closed (for passage in direction of Kórnik) together with the southern slip road of Poznań Krzesiny Interchange.

2. To increase road safety and streamline the passage during the renovation works, the western slip road of Interchange was opened for passage (direction Kórnik).

3. Till the 7/8th of October the renovation works would be executed by prevailing operative, temporal traffic system, i.e. closed slip road number 1 (exit to Świecko from direction of Poznań); on the eastern road would be hold two-way traffic.

4. On the 8/9th of October there would be a closure of a slip road number 2 (exit to Katowice from direction of Warszawa) and an implementation of a detour through Poznań Franowo.

5. Around 15/16th of October it is planned to redo the passage on slip roads number 1 and 2 and concurrently close the slip road number 3 (from S11 trunk road in direction of Warszawa) and implement a detour on Koninko Interchange.

6. From the 19/20th of October there would be a closure of a slip road number 4 (from A2 motorway on S11 trunk road in direction of Katowice) and an implementation of a detour through open slip roads on Poznań Krzesiny Interchange.

7. On the 22nd/23rd of October there would be an opening of slip roads number 3 and 4; the passage on S11 trunk road would be replaced from eastern to western route. All slip rods would be open; the passage on a western route of S11 would be narrowed to a single lane.

8. Till the end of October it is scheduled to secure drivability within S11 trunk road and redo target traffic system.

9. From the end of October until mid November there will be an execution of finish works that would cause less critical passage difficulties than works on the previous stage.

Works will be executed on weekdays from 7.00am to 7.00pm and on alternate weekends. Between the 12th and the 31st of October, the executant will outpour 6,5 thousands tones of bitumastic mass. Works cover changes in subgrade and bitumastic layers to brace pavement structure. The executor of the works is Strabag LLC.

The temporal traffic system was agreed with Provincial Police Headquarters in Poznań, City Police Headquarters in Poznań, City Roads Authority in Poznań and General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, Poznań division.
