Autostrada Wielkopolska S.A. has launched a modern mobile website. Check before leaving for the May weekend!

We have launched a comfortable mobile version of our website addressed to drivers who will be using the A2 concession section during the long May weekend. After typing autostrada-a2.pl on any mobile device, users will access information valuable for each driver.

The easy-to-use menu give access to:

• Trip calculator for the A2 concession section (software extension is available on Facebook and the website)
• Motorway services in the social media (Facebook and Twitter)
• Emergency phone number, telephone and e-mail helpline for drivers
• Current news – access to the most recent information on the current situation on the motorway.

Supplementary information:

• “Fast A2 connection – you know your cost” calculator – a virtual travel assistant calculating travel costs on the A2 concession section, taking account of:
• Motorway toll (there are five different vehicle categories to choose from)
• Cost of fuel for the route (based on an average fuel (petrol or diesel) consumption for a passenger vehicle)
• Final travel cost is displayed as a per person cost (may include such extra costs as coffee or hotdog expenses

The calculator provides an estimated fuel consumption and informs on how many kilometres the driver will need to travel between A and B. Drivers will be also informed of the motorway facilities located along the route (e.g. fuel stations, Rest and Service Areas, restaurants, car parks and hotels).

“We have introduced a new tool to make the use of the A2 motorway concession section easier for the drivers. The light version of our website for mobile devices is our response to the dynamic mobile market in Europe. This is a new functionality for our users who will get access to a modern, European information system covering the motorway” – adds Zofia Kwiatkowska, AWSA’s spokesperson.
