Resurfacing in the Rzepin motorway interchange

24 August this year Autostrada Wielkopolska is resuming the works related to the resurfacing in the Rzepin motorway interchange (A2 21 km). Due to the works, traffic diversions will be implemented. Drivers are asked to pay particular attention and follow temporary traffic signs

On Tuesday 24 August the works will start in the A2 exit ramp lane in the Warsaw direction to Rzepin and Świebodzin. Due to the works, the drivers travelling from Świecko will not be able to exit A2 to take the national road no 92. The traffic is diverted to the A2 toll section to the Torzym motorway interchange, next along the provincial road no 138 to Torzym and further along the national road no 92 to the Rzepin interchange. The drivers using the traffic diversion between the Tarnawa and Torzym Toll Plazas will be exempted from toll.

The following and the last phase of pavement upgrade in the Rzepin interchange is planned for 31 August this year. It will include the ramp lane enabling the entry to A2 from Rzepin and Świebodzin. The drivers travelling to Świecko from the above directions will use the entry in A2 in Torzym. The marked diversion from the Rzepin interchange under rehabilitation leads along the national road no 92 to Torzym, next along the provincial road no 138 to the Torzym interchange and continues along the A2 toll section to the Rzepin interchange. The drivers using the diversion will be exempted from toll in the section between Torzym Toll Station and Tarnawa Toll Plaza.

The Concessionaire took care to resurface the pavement in order to maintain high quality of the road and ensure travel comfort and safety of drivers using Autostrada Wielkopolska. To minimize traffic limitations, the works have been divided into 10 phases. The first phase commenced on 9 June this year.
