Rehabilitation of pavement at Torzym interchange

On 19 July rehabilitation of pavement at Torzym interchange will commence (around km 35 of A2 motorway). The works will result in scheduled detours. Drivers are requested to be alert and to abide by the temporary traffic organization signs.

The Company Autostrada Wielkopolska II S.A. commences rehabilitation of pavement at Torzym interchange. The works will involve replacement of the wearing course. This is required in the context of maintaining high quality of the road and providing travel comfort and safety to drivers using the motorway of Autostrada Wielkopolska.

Works will be phased. Phase 1 will commence on 19 July 2021 and will involve rehabilitation of the exit slip road from A2 to district road 138 for the drivers traveling from Poznań. The detour will lead through Jordanowo interchange into S3 expressway and further down the community road on S3 Świebodzin Północ (North) interchange, through national road 92 and district road 138 to Torzym interchange.

In the weeks to follow, works will be performed phased as follows:

Phase 2

Rehabilitation and temporary closure of the exit slip road from A2 towards district road 138 for drivers traveling from Świecko. The detour will lead through Rzepin interchange, national road 92 and further on district road 138 to Torzym interchange.

Phase 3

Phase 3 of the works will include rehabilitation and temporary closure of the entry slip road onto A2 from the district road 138 for drivers traveling to Świecko. The detour will lead through district road 138 to Torzym, further on national road 92 to Rzepin interchange where the drivers heading for Świecko will be able to enter A2.

Phase 4
Phase 4 includes rehabilitation of the entry slip road onto A2 from district road 138 towards Poznań. Detour will use district road 138, then national road 92, community road to Świebodzin Północ (North) Interchange (S3) and further on S3 expressway to Jordanowo interchange, where the drivers heading for Poznań will be able to enter A2.
