Measurements of new LED lighting in the Poznań motorway bypass

At the night of 16/17 of June this year the efficiency of new lighting system of the Bypass will be measured in the Poznań Komorniki – Poznań Krzesiny section. The measurements involve a temporary change in the motorway traffic organisation.

The change mainly concerns drivers traveling from Warsaw to Świecko.

  • From 20:00 hours the traffic organisation in Poznań Krzesiny and Poznań Luboń interchanges will be changed. The carriageway leading from Warsaw in the direction of Świecko will be closed at the level of the Poznań Krzesiny interchange, and the traffic will be directed along the streets of Poznań towards the Poznań Komorniki interchange. The entry to the motorway in the Świecko direction in the Poznań Luboń interchange will not be possible.
  • From 22:30 hours, for a short period (from 5 to 15 minutes) the traffic between the Poznań Komorniki and the Poznań Krzesiny interchanges traffic will be stopped on the carriageway leading from Świecko in the direction of Warsaw.

The measurements are planned to be completed and the permanent traffic organisation restored no later than at 4:00 hours.

All drivers are asked to use particular caution and comply with the instructions of the road traffic services and the Police.

The new energy-saving motorway lighting was implemented in the scope of building the 3rd traffic lane of the Poznań Bypass, with Autostrada Wielkopolska S.A. as the employer, and STRABAG and A2 Route Consortium as contractors. The measurements are taken by the Poznań University of Technology.
