New Temporary Traffic Management between Poznań Zachód – Poznań Komorniki interchanges from 18 August

The successive phase of the Poznań Bypass extension has started. Recently bituminous pavement has been laid on the northern carriageway of the Bypass between Poznań Zachód and Poznań Komorniki interchanges (155km+870 – 158km+700). Starting from Sunday 18^th August the works will be performed on the southern carriageway and the new Temporary Traffic Management will be set forth. At the same time works are being performed between Poznań Luboń and Poznań Krzesiny interchanges.

New Temporary Traffic Management between Poznań Zachód and Poznań Komorniki interchanges will be implemented from Friday 16^th August until Sunday 18^th August. The entire traffic will flow on the extended northern carriageway where the target pavement has already been laid. Drivers will have 4 traffic lanes at their disposal: two in the Warsaw direction and two in the Świecko direction. In both cases there will be no emergency lane. At the same time the construction of the third lane will be in course on the southern carriageway.

Please remember that the works are also being performed between Poznań Luboń and Poznań Krzesiny interchanges. Drivers driving the southern carriageway (carrying traffic from Świecko in the direction of Warsaw) will use the emergency lane. On the northern carriageway (in the direction of Świecko) three traffic lanes are available (without the emergency lane): two in the Świecko direction and one in the Warsaw direction. Drivers driving that lane towards the capital do not have the possibility of exiting the motorway in the Poznań Krzesiny interchange. That lane is recommended for all vehicles, including heavy vehicles making a transit trip in the direction of Warsaw.
