Continuation of works on A2, section Września-Konin

From 4 April there will be a continuation of pavement renovation of main road A2 motorway, section Września-Konin. There will be temporal traffic system on pointed sections of motorway.

Schedule of works:

• 4.04-13.04 Closure of southern road (direction Warszawa) on section 224km+900-232km+300, two-way passage on northern roadway (direction Świecko).
• 9.04-10.04 Słupca Interchange: closure of slip road A with a passage from DW466 in direction of Słupca to A2 in direction of Warszawa. Predicted work time: 1 working day. Passage to Warszawa lead by detour through Słupca, left on the crossroad to DK92 till Września and then according to road signs to A2 Warszawa.
• 16.04-27.04.2018 Lądek Toll Plaza (PPO Lądek), 238km:

o STAGE A: 16.04.2018 closure of fast lane on access road and 2 left transfer lanes on northern road (direction Świecko) of Lądek Toll Plaza (PPO Lądek)
o STAGE B: 18.04.2018 closure of slow lane on access road and 2 right transfer lanes on northern road (direction Świecko) of Lądek Toll Plaza (PPO Lądek); closure of CSA Lądek
o STAGE C: 20.04.2018 closure of middle transfer lanes on northern road (direction Świecko) of Lądek Toll Plaza (PPO Lądek)
o 22.04-27.04.2018 works on southern road (direction Warszawa)

Schedules presented above can change, due to weather conditions and current traffic intensity within section of works.

Works will be conducted according to heavy maintenance plan, that assumes (same as in case of public motorways) pavement renovation after 10 years of using. Works will last till October 2017. The temporal traffic system was agreed with Provincial Police Headquarters in Poznań, General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, Autostrada Wielkopolska Inc. and Autostrada Eksploatacja Inc.
