Pavement renovation of A2 on section Września-Konin

Continuation of pavement renovation of main road A2 motorway, section Września-Konin. There will be temporal traffic system on pointed sections of motorway.

Schedule of works:

  • 16.11 Closure of southern road (direction Warszawa) on section 220km+900-224km+900, two way passage on northern roadway (direction Świecko). Emergency entrance on 221km+443 is closed for passage for the time of works.
  • 23-26.11 Section 216km+900-220km+900 of southern road (direction Warszawa) reintroduced for passage.
  • 27.11-6.12 works on trunk road DW466 within A2 motorway, near Słupca Interchange. Alternate closure of western and eastern roadway, two way passage conducted with traffic lights or manually to provide the fluency of passage. Closure of slip road A with a passage from Słupca I/C from DW466 to Warszawa – passage lead through Słupca, left on the crossroad to DK92 till Września and then according to road signs to A2 Warszawa.
  • 27-30.11 Closure of southern road (direction Warszawa) on section 224km+900-228km+300, two way passage on northern roadway (direction Świecko).
  • 1-3.12 Section 220km+900-224km+900 of southern road (direction Warszawa) reintroduced for passage.

Schedules presented above can change, due to weather conditions and current traffic intensity within section of works.

Works will be conducted according to heavy maintenance plan, that assumes (same as in case of public motorways) pavement renovation after 10 years of using. The executor of the works is Strabag LLC (person to contact with: Marcin Szczepański, tel. +48 695 020 857).

The temporal traffic system was agreed with Provincial Police Headquarters in Poznań, General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, Autostrada Wielkopolska Inc. and Autostrada Eksploatacja Inc.
