Pavement renovation of A2 on section Września-Konin

On 23/24th of July starts next stage of pavement renovation of main road A2 motorway, section Września-Konin. There will be temporal traffic system on pointed sections of motorway.

Schedule of works:

• 23/2.07 Closure of southern road (direction Warszawa) on section 248km+100-252km+000, two-way passage on northern roadway (direction Świecko), emergency exit on 248km+078 closed for passage for time of works.
• 26/27.07 Section 240km+100-244km+200 reintroduced for passage.
• 26/27.07 Closure of southern road (direction Warszawa) on section 244km+200-248km+100, two-way passage on northern roadway (direction Świecko), emergency exit on 251km+000 closed for passage for time of works.
• 29/30.07 Section 244km+200-248km+100 reintroduced for passage.
• 29/30.07 Closure of southern road (direction Warszawa) on section 252km+000-255km+800, two-way passage on northern roadway (direction Świecko).
• 31.07/1.08 Section 248km+100-252km+000 reintroduced for passage.
• 31.07/1.08 Closure of southern road (direction Warszawa) on section 255km+800-257km+560, two-way passage on northern roadway (direction Świecko), emergency exit on 257km+288 closed for passage for time of works.

Schedules presented above can change, due to weather conditions and current traffic intensity within section of works.

Works will be conducted according to heavy maintenance plan, that assumes (same as in case of public motorways) pavement renovation after 10 years of using. Works will last till October 2017. The temporal traffic system was agreed with Provincial Police Headquarters in Poznań, General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, Autostrada Wielkopolska Inc and Autostrada Eksploatacja Inc.
