Changes on schedule of works on Poznań Komorniki Interchange – first week

On Monday, 19th of September this year began second part of pavement renovation on Poznań Komorniki Interchange, on the crossroad of trunk road DK5 and regional road DW196 with A2 motorway. The works will be organized on eastern and western road of Poznańska and Głogowska Street in direction of Poznań and Wrocław. Renovation won’t last longer than till the end of October. The schedule of temporal traffic system.

STAGE I: 19-21.09 Milling and cleaning of roadway pavement – closure of one lane (alternate left and right lane) of western road on Głogowska and Poznańska Street in direction of Wrocław – single lane passage, all slip roads are open for passage.

STAGE II: 22.09 Closure of right and emergency lane on Głogowska and Poznańska Street in direction of Wrocław from McDonald’s to viaduct over A2 – left lane drive. Closed slip road A with a passage from DW196 from Poznań to A2 in direction of Świecko – detour through slip road H, F, D. Closed slip road B with a passage from A2 from Warszawa to DK5 in direction of Wrocław – detour through slip road C to Głogowska/Kowalewicka Interchange, than back in direction of Wrocław.

STAGE III: 23.09 Closure of right and emergency lane on Głogowska and Poznańska Street in direction of Wrocław from viaduct over A2 to Daimlera/Magazynowa Street crossing in Komorniki (without the crossing) – left lane drive. Closed slip road H with a passage from DW196 from Poznań to A2 in direction of Warszawa – detour through Auchan roundabout and than Opłotki, Sycowska, Fabianowska and Daimlera Street. Closed slip road G with a passage from A2 from Świecko to DK5 in direction of Wrocław – detour with slip roads F,D,B.

STAGE IV: 24.09 Closure of left lane on Głogowska and Poznańska Street in direction of Wrocław from McDonald’s to Daimlera/Magazynowa Street crossing in Komorniki (without the crossing) – right lane drive, all slip roads are open for passage.

STAGE V: 25-26.09 Painting of lanes, cleaning the roadside. Depends on the order of painting there will be a closure of left and right lane of western road on Głogowska and Poznańska Street in direction of Wrocław from McDonald’s to Daimlera/Magazynowa Street crossing in Komorniki (without the crossing). All slip roads are open for passage.

Works cover changes in binder and wearing layers. The executor of the works is Strabag LLC (person to contact: Marcin Szczepański, tel. +48 695 020 857). The finalization of works is scheduled by the end of October this year.

The temporal traffic system was agreed with Provincial Police Headquarters in Poznań, City Roads Authority in Poznań, Traffic Road Management in Poznań, Urban Traffic Engineer, Komorniki Commune Office, District Road Management in Poznań and General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, Poznań division.
