Motorway driving course at the National Rally of Red Cars

Another National Rally of Red Cars is behind us. The event, organized by the Fire Fighters of Greater Poland Foundation at the Poznan International Fair, was very popular. We were there as well, introducing visitors to the principles of safe motorway driving. Our tent with the motorway driving simulator was visited by more than 2.5 thousand people!

For the fourth time, firefighting enthusiasts from all over Poland met at the National Rally of Red Cars. Nearly ten thousand people on Saturday, August 19, admired demonstrations by the Children’s Fire Brigade, rescue dogs, oil extinguishing or fire suppression action with a horse-drawn fire extinguisher. And these are just some of the attractions.

We are a partner of this event and we are very pleased that our Motorway Driving Course attracted a crowd of visitors. The motorway driving simulator was eagerly used by both drivers and car enthusiasts who do not yet have a driving license. In safe conditions, they could see that driving on the highway is different from driving on ordinary roads. Different signage and rules apply on it, such as keeping the minimum distance, prohibiting stopping and turning, and joining traffic smoothly with proper use of the runway. All of this is taught in the Motorway Driving Course, and at the Rally we were able to introduce visitors to both traffic safety rules and our program. The driving simulator worked non-stop, just like the engines of our motorway patrol cars 🙂

Firefighters Foundation of Wielkopolska estimates that the event was visited by nearly ten thousand people. Demonstrations in the Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation competition for individuals were also very popular.
