Autostrada Wielkopolska SA, in line with the long term investment and rehabilitation program commences the pavement rehabilitation at the Pozna\u0144 Zach\u00f3d interchange. The works will involve replacing the wearing course and have been divided into phases, so as to be the least disruptive to motorists and allow some traffic to pass through the interchange. Phase one – rehabilitation of the entry slip roads – will begin on August 6. Preparatory works around the 156 km of A2 will begin on August 2.<\/p>\n
\u2022 For drivers coming from Wroc\u0142aw (S5 expressway) and intending to enter the motorway in the direction of Warsaw, a detour will lead them through the St\u0119szew interchange, towards DW 306 and 311 roads, further towards the Pozna\u0144 Komorniki interchange, where they may enter the motorway heading to Warsaw.<\/p>\n
\u2022 For drivers coming from Wroc\u0142aw (S5 expressway) and intending to enter the motorway in the direction of \u015awiecko, a detour will lead them through the St\u0119szew interchange, towards DW 306 and 311 roads, further towards the Pozna\u0144 Komorniki interchange, where they may enter the motorway heading to \u015awiecko.<\/p>\n
\u2022 For drivers traveling from the direction of Pi\u0142a (S11) and intending to enter the motorway in the direction of Warsaw, a detour will lead them through the Tarnowo Podg\u00f3rne interchange, on the DK 92 road to Wrze\u015bnia, then entering the motorway at the Wrze\u015bnia interchange or earlier, through the Kostrzyn interchange (S5) to the Pozna\u0144 East interchange and further entering the A2.<\/p>\n
\u2022 For drivers traveling from the direction of Pi\u0142a (S11) and intending to enter the motorway in the direction of \u015awiecko, a detour will lead them through the \u0141awica interchange, further onto the DW 307 road to the Buk interchange, where they will be able to merge into \u015awiecko-bound traffic.<\/p>\n
\u2022 In addition, for drivers traveling from the direction of Pi\u0142a (S11) in the direction of Katowice, a detour will lead them through the \u0141awica interchange, then through the streets of Pozna\u0144 (Bukowska-Reymonta-G\u0142ogowska) to the Pozna\u0144 Komorniki interchange, where there will be able to come back onto the motorway.<\/p>\n
The pavement rehabilitation at the Pozna\u0144 Zach\u00f3d interchange stems from the Company’s concern for high quality of the road infrastructure and for ensuring travel comfort and safety for drivers.<\/p>\n
Completion of that phase has been scheduled within ca. two weeks. After completion, the works will move to the exit slip roads, which will be announced in a separate communication. Please note that the pace of works and the completion date depend largely on favorable weather conditions. Rainfall, hail or other inclement weather may delay the works.<\/p>\n
In parallel with the rehabilitation of the Pozna\u0144 Zach\u00f3d interchange, the General Directorate of National Roads and Motorways in Pozna\u0144 will perform rehabilitation of the State-managed road sections around the Pozna\u0144 Zach\u00f3d interchange.<\/p>\n
The scope of works of both Autostrada Wielkopolska and the GDDKiA has been planned to be executed in parallel, thus avoiding the need to close the sections once again later.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
