{"id":3445,"date":"2022-08-16T13:39:00","date_gmt":"2022-08-16T13:39:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/test2.autostrada-a2.pl\/uncategorized\/press-relase-279\/"},"modified":"2022-10-24T09:13:12","modified_gmt":"2022-10-24T09:13:12","slug":"press-relase-279","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/a2.codocaine.com\/en\/press-relases\/press-relase-279\/","title":{"rendered":"Pavement rehabilitation on the A2 motorway in the area of Buk"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>On 18 August the mainline pavement rehabilitation on the A2 motorway between Nowy Tomy\u015bl and Pozna\u0144 will enter another phase. It will involve closing to traffic of part of the southern carriageway in a ca. 6-km section (between km 134 and km 140 of A2) and the exit slip roads at the Buk interchange. As of 18 August it will be possible to exit the motorway to drivers coming from \u015awiecko and as of 22 August &#8211; to drivers coming from Pozna\u0144. Rehabilitation works at Buk interchange will necessitate detours. Drivers are requested to be particularly alert and to abide by the temporary traffic organization signs.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>_x000D_<br \/>\n_x000D_<\/p>\n<p>Autostrada Wielkopolska has been performing a long-term heavy maintenance program, in line with the time schedule and approved deadlines for the section Nowy Tomy\u015bl &ndash; Pozna\u0144 Zach&oacute;d (West). In order to minimize the works&#39; impact on traffic and the drivers&#39; comfort, the works have been phased. After works were completed in the area of the Nowy Tomy\u015bl interchange, rehabilitation has been progressing in the mainline heading towards Pozna\u0144. Another phase to commence on 18 August involves rehabilitation of the Buk interchange (at ca. km 140 of A2).<\/p>\n<p>_x000D_<br \/>\n_x000D_<\/p>\n<p>During that stage, on 18 August, the exit slip road at Buk interchange will be closed for traffic coming from \u015awiecko. A detour shall run from Nowy Tomy\u015bl interchange through district road 305 (DW305), further through district road 308 (DW308) and DW 307 to Buk.<\/p>\n<p>_x000D_<br \/>\n_x000D_<\/p>\n<p>On 22 August the slip road at Buk interchange will be closed to traffic coming from Pozna\u0144. A detour shall run through Pozna\u0144 Zach&oacute;d Interchange, S11 expressway to Pozna\u0144 \u0141awica interchange and further onto district road 307 (DW307) to Buk.<\/p>\n<p>_x000D_<br \/>\n_x000D_<\/p>\n<p>In parallel, works will be performed in the mainline southern carriageway, in the section of ca. 6 km (between km 134+320 and km 140+260). This means that entire traffic will be directed to the northern carriageway which will be used by drivers in both directions.<\/p>\n<p>_x000D_<br \/>\n_x000D_<\/p>\n<p>The abovementioned scope of works has been scheduled to be completed in ca. 2 weeks. Subsequently, the entry slip roads will be rehabilitated. We shall notify the drivers about that phase separately.<\/p>\n<p>_x000D_<br \/>\n_x000D_<\/p>\n<p>The Company imposed an obligation onto the contractor to timely complete the woks with as little inconvenience for drivers as possible. However, please note that the completion date may be affected by weather conditions, high winds, rain, etc.<\/p>\n<p>_x000D_<br \/>\n_x000D_<\/p>\n<p>The rehabilitation works of the bituminous pavement in the section Nowy Tomy\u015bl &#8211; Pozna\u0144 stem from the concessionaire&#39;s care to maintain high quality of the road and trip safety and comfort to drivers. Autostrada Wielkopolska motorway is the longest and most driven motorway section in Poland.
