Considering the suffering caused by the warfare and the great need for humanitarian aid for Ukrainians, Autostrada Wielkopolska, in consultation with the Ministry of Infrastructure, since the beginning of March has been exempting from tolls on the concession section of A2 Motorway the passenger cars registered in Ukraine and the convoys carrying humanitarian aid for Ukrainians.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Since the beginning of March this year there have been over 60 thousand such operations on the concession section of A2 freeway. Most of them are passenger cars registered in Ukraine, but there are also large convoys from all over Europe carrying aid. In the first two weeks of March, there were about 700-750 journeys a day between Konin and Nowy Tomy\u015bl, and now the average is about 500 vehicles a day. In total, since the beginning of the campaign, the value of the aid has already exceeded approximately PLN 1,300,000. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Many requests for exemption from tolls on the A2 section between \u015awiecko and Konin come from countries such as Great Britain, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy or Germany. There are also shipments from distant Portugal or France.<\/p>\n

Vehicles carrying humanitarian aid for Ukraine and passenger cars registered in Ukraine may apply for exemption from tolls on Autostrada Wielkopolska. The latter do not need to fill in any applications – it is enough to give the registration number of the vehicle to the cashier at the gates.
\nIn case of convoys with humanitarian aid, it is necessary to report and arrange such a passage with Autostrada Wielkopolska. Applications should be made via e-mail ua@awsa.pl or infolinia@mail.autostrada-a2.pl in advance. Preferably 24 hours before departure.<\/p>\n

The application should contain such data as the name and confirmation from the humanitarian organization organizing the ride, vehicle registration number, date of the ride or contact information. Detailed information can be found here >>><\/a>.<\/p>\n
