Roadworkers continue rehabilitation of Rzepin interchange (at km 21 of A2 motorway). Another phase of works is scheduled to commence 24 June. The works will entail closing the southwestern part of the southern roundabout at Rzepin interchange and half of the road (eastern lane) linking the northern roundabout to the southern one. Alternating traffic will continue on the southern roundabout and on the road between the two roundabouts. This means a hindrance for the drivers heading to Rzepin from \u015awiecko, as they will have to take a detour on National Road 92 through the Polmax gas station in Bocz\u00f3w.<\/p>\n
The resurfacing works are required in order to maintain high quality of the road and to ensure safety and comfort of trips to drivers using the motorway of Autostrada Wielkopolska.<\/p>\n
With a view to minimize inconvenience resulting from traffic disruption, works have been divided into 10 phases. Woks have been progressing dynamically and on time – first three phases have already been completed.<\/p>\n
Another stage will commence 28 June and will be performed on the eastern side of National Road 92 from \u015awiebodzin to Rzepin, on the northeastern part of the southern roundabout at Rzepin interchange and on the road linking the northern and the southern roundabouts on eastern side. Alternating traffic will continue on the southern roundabout and on the road between the two roundabouts.
\nAlso, alternating traffic will be launched on the western side of the National Road 92 section. In addition, the slip road from Rzepin\/Road 92 towards Pozna\u0144 will be closed. A detour on National Road 92 will be available through Torzym interchange – the drivers traveling from the area\u00a0 of Rzepin towards Pozna\u0144 will be able to join the motorway traffic at Torzym interchange. Those drivers who already entered A2, for example in \u015awiecko, and are heading towards Warsaw, will experience no traffic changes<\/p>\n
