Summer holidays are a time for vacation, but also for short trips with family or friends. This year's holidays will, however, be different and many of us will not decide to go on long journeys. Autostrada Wielkopolska S.A., together with its partners, encourages to use the holidays to see nearby attractions as part of \u201cDiscover Wielkopolska and Lubuskie\u201d campaign. A new route proposal will be presented every week during the holidays, and it will allow discovering the beauty of those two regions. A total of eight routes will lead tourists to over 25 exceptional destinations.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Holiday season is a time when many of us, at least for a moment, want to forget about everyday obligations and wish to relax by going to a dream vacation. This year, due to the coronavirus pandemic, many of us have decided to spend their holidays at home or in its vicinity. Taking into account the needs of Poles, Autostrada Wielkopolska, together with its professional partners, Wielkopolska Organizacja Turystyczna (Wielkopolska Tourist Organisation) and Visit Zielona G\u00f3ra, has prepared eight holiday routes proposed us part of \u201cDiscover Wielkopolska and Lubuskie\u201d campaign.<\/p>\n

Holiday season is the best time to set out on a journey with your family or friends and visit inspiring places not far away from home. Using our proposal may also be a way to rest and relax during a longer trip. Remember, fatigue and drowsiness significantly deteriorate traffic safety, that is why it is sometimes good to stop, rest and take the opportunity to see something interesting – said Anna Ciamciak, Autostrada Wielkopolska S.A. spokesperson.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Proposed routes have been selected in a way that enables quick travel to a selected place and visiting the most interesting locations described in a mini-guidebook. Route description includes a map with indicated mileage and travel time. If we remember about safety and following the key sanitary regime rules, planning an attractive tourist day or weekend is easy.<\/p>\n

Wielkopolska is a very attractive tourist region. We are happy to be able to partner Autostrada Wielkopolska in creating routes that will allow discovering beautiful places located in the vicinity of the motorway. We have prepared four very attractive routes that allow tourists to gain broader knowledge of wickerwork, discover beautiful castles or palaces, but also travel to the times of Mieszko I of Poland, said Artur Krysztofiak, the head of Wielkopolska Organizacja Turystyczna office.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Campaign organisers have not forgotten about places that are particularly attractive during holidays, which offer rest and relaxing time at the beach.<\/p>\n

Lubuskie region takes pride in diversified attractions, which offer relaxation in the Lubuskie Lakeland, among lakes and meandering rivers and learning about the history of Polish winemaking. Together with Autostrada Wielkopolska S.A. we have prepared four very interesting routes, which will be a treat both for the youngest and those slightly older tourists, concluded Hubert Ma\u0142yszczyk, the head of Visit Zielona G\u00f3ra.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

When planning a trip or holidays, please remember to follow the key principles that increase safety during the pandemic. Wash and disinfect hands regularly, keep the minimum distance from another person, avoid touching your face and use contactless payments at stops and Toll Plazas.<\/p>\n
