Read moreOn 17 May, the exit slip roads from the motorway at the Trzciel interchange will be opened to traffic, with the works shifted onto the entry slip roads. This will mark the second phase of rehabilitation works at the Trzciel Interchange (around 91st km of A2). This phase will involve replacement of the wearing course on the entry slip roads of the interchange.
This means no the entry on A2 will be possible at the Trzciel Interchange. Detours have been prepared for drivers intending to join the motorway traffic in the vicinity of Trzciel.
Since 17 May:
• Drivers intending to enter the motorway heading for Świecko will be able to use the detour from Trzciel, on the national road 92 (DK92) to the Świebodzin Północ (North) interchange, further on the S3 expressway to the Jordanowo interchange where they may enter the A2.
• Drivers whose trips originate in the Zbąszyń region intending to enter the motorway heading for Świecko will be able to use the detour leading from Zbąszyń on the county road 121F to DK92, then to the Świebodzin Północ (North) interchange, further on the S3 expressway to the Jordanowo interchange where they may enter the motorway.
• Drivers coming from Trzciel in the direction of Poznań will be able to use the detour on the national road 92 (DK92) towards the provincial road 305 and further to the Nowy Tomyśl interchange, where they will be able to enter the A2 motorway.
• Drivers coming from the Zbąszyń region in the direction of Poznań will be able to use the detour on the provincial road 302 towards the provincial road 305 and further to the Nowy Tomyśl interchange, where they will be able to enter the motorway.
The rehabilitation works at the Trzciel interchange are expected to be completed on 29 May.
