We play together with the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity

The 32nd Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (WOSP) is coming up this Sunday, January 28. We are happy to once again support WOSP and its fundraising. As part of our cooperation with the WOSP Staff at Poznań University of Technology, we donated funds and provided free transportation for the Staff volunteers to the Orchestra Headquarters in Warsaw.

Autostrada Wielkopolska SA, once again became a Partner of the WOSP Staff operating at Poznan University of Technology. This year’s Finale plays under the slogan “Lungs after the pandemic. We play for children and adults!”. Funds raised during the campaign will be used to purchase equipment for diagnosing, monitoring and rehabilitating lung diseases of patients in pulmonology wards for children and adults.
The Foundation plans to buy equipment for:

• imaging diagnostics, including magnetic resonance imaging and ultrasound equipment
• functional diagnostics, including polysomnographs and portable spirometers
• endoscopic diagnostics, including bronchoscopy systems for endobronchial navigation and bronchoscopes
• rehabilitation – pulmonary rehabilitation equipment used in the treatment of patients after lung transplantation
• thoracic surgery, including electrocoagulation and cryosonde systems

The Finale is a one-day public collection organized by the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation (WOSP). For many years, WOSP Finals have also been accompanied by online campaigns and closed events, which begin in early December. Every year, the amount collected breaks records. We hope it will be the same this time as well. Let’s take care of each other!
