Resurfacing in the Września motorway interchange – next phase from 2nd of October

ext step of resurfacing in the Września motorway interchange will commence on 2 October. Due to the works, alternating traffic will be implemented, followed by traffic diversions in the later phases. Drivers are asked to pay particular attention and abide by the temporary traffic signage.

In accordance with the maintenance plan, Autostrada Wielkopolska S.A. is commencing the works to replace the wearing course in the Września interchange located in km 209 of the A2 motorway. The works have been divided into several phases to reduce the nuisance for drivers.

In the next phase, on 2nd of October, works will commence in the DK92 section from Poznań to Września between the roundabout located at the exit from A2 Motorway and the second roundabout at the crossing of the DK92 with the DK15. The alternating traffic will also be adopted.

Upon the completion of this phase the works will move to the entry ramps to the A2 Motorway. As a result the following diversions will be set up:

• for vehicles driving from Września to join the traffic the A2 Motorway in the direction of Warsaw, the diversion will be set up along the DK92  national road from Września in the direction of Słupca. Next in Słupca drivers will turn right into the DW466 provincial road to the Słupca interchange, and enter the A2 Motorway in the direction of Warsaw.

• for vehicles driving from Września to enter the A2 Motorway in the direction of Świecko, the diversion will be set up along the DK92 national road from Września in the direction of Poznań. Next in the Kostrzyn interchange drivers will turn into S5 express road in the direction of the Poznań Wschód interchange, and enter the A2 Motorway in the direction of Poznań at the Poznań Wschód interchange.

Weather conditions may affect the time limits of performance of individual phases. Autostrada Wielkopolska makes every effort to ensure that the upgrading works run smoothly and without unnecessary impediments, with a view to ensure high-quality of the road and the safety of drivers.
