Renovation works on Poznań Komorniki Interchange

On Monday, 19th of September this year begins second part of pavement renovation on Poznań Komorniki Interchange, on the crossroad of trunk road DK5 and regional road DW196 with A2 motorway. The works will be organized on eastern and western road of Poznańska and Głogowska Street in direction of Poznań and Wrocław. Renovation will be divided into eleven stages and won’t last longer than till the end of October. The schedule of temporal traffic system.

STAGE I: 19-21.09 Closure of left lane of western road on Głogowska and Poznańska Street in direction of Wrocław, right lane drive.

STAGE II: 22.09 Closure of right and emergency lane of western road on Głogowska and Poznańska Street in direction of Wrocław, left lane drive.

STAGE III: 23.09 Closure of right and emergency lane of western road on Głogowska and Poznańska Street in direction of Wrocław – left lane drive. Closed entering on slip road A – detour through slip roads H, F, D. Closed exit on slip road B – detour through slip road C to Głogowska/Kowalewicka Interchange, than back in direction of Wrocław.

STAGE IV: 24.09 Closure of right and emergency lane of western road on Głogowska and Poznańska Street in direction of Wrocław – left lane drive. Closed entering on slip road H – detour through Auchan roundabout and than Opłotki, Sycowska, Fabianowska and Daimlera Street. Closed exit on slip road G – detour with slip roads F, D, B.

STAGE V: 27-30.09 Closure of left lane of eastern road on Poznańska and Głogowska Street in direction of Poznań, right lane drive.

STAGE VI: 3.10 Closure of right and emergency lane of eastern road on Poznańska and Głogowska Street in direction of Poznań, left lane drive.

STAGE VII: 4.10 Closure of right and emergency lane of eastern road on Poznańska and Głogowska Street in direction of Poznań, left lane drive. Closed entering on slip road E – detour through slip roads D, B, H. Closed exit on slip road F – detour through slip road G and than Poznańska, Daimlera, Fabianowska, Sycowska and Opłotki Street and near Auchan roundabout.

STAGE VIII: 5.10 Closure of right and emergency lane of eastern road on Poznańska and Głogowska Street in direction of Poznań, left lane drive. Closed entering on slip road D – detour through Głogowska/Kowalewicka Interchange, than back in direction of Wrocław. Closed exit on slip road C – detour through slip roads B, H, F.

STAGE IX: 8-11.10 Closure of right and middle lane of western road on Poznańska Street in direction of Wrocław near the crossing of Daimlera and Magazynowa Street. Closed western part of crossing – left lane drive on western road and than relocated upstream to the left lane in direction of Poznań. Detours:

• Access to Daimlera Street from Poznań: through C.H Auchan roundabout and than Opłotki, Sycowska, Fabianowska and Daimlera Street.

• Access to Daimlera Street from Wrocław and from Magazynowa Street: Poznańska and Głogowska Street to Głogowska/Kowalewicka Interchange, back in direction od Wrocław through C.H Auchan roundabout, next Opłotki, Sycowska, Fabianowska and Daimlera Street.

• Access to Daimlera Street in direction of Poznań, Wrocław and A2: Daimlera, Fabianowska, Sycowska, Opłotki Street, through C.H Auchan roundabout.

• Access to Magazynowa Street from Poznań: Poznańska and Nizinna Street in Komorniki.

• Access to Magazynowa Street from Wrocław: Nizinna Street in Komorniki.

• Access to Magazynowa Street in direction of Wrocław: Nizinna Street in Komorniki.

STAGE X: 12-13.10 Closure of left lane of western road on Poznańska Street in direction of Wrocław near the crossing of Daimlera and Magazynowa Street. Closed central part of crossing – middle lane drive. Closed left and middle lane in direction of Poznań – right lane drive. Detour:

• Access to Daimlera Street from Wrocław and Magazynowa Street: Poznańska and Głogowska Street to Głogowska/Kowalewicka Interchange, back in direction od Wrocław through C.H Auchan roundabout, next Opłotki, Sycowska, Fabianowska and Daimlera Street.

• Access from Daimlera Street in direction of Poznań and A2: Daimlera, Fabianowska, Sycowska, Opłotki Street, through C.H Auchan roundabout.

• Access to Magazynowa Street from Poznań: Poznańska and Nizinna Street in Komorniki.

• Access to Magazynowa Street in direction of Wrocław: Nizinna Street in Komorniki.

STAGE XI: 14-17.10 Closure of left lane of western road on Poznańska Street in direction of Wrocław near the crossing of Daimlera and Magazynowa Street. Closed left and right lane of eastern road in direction of Poznań. Closed entering on Magazynowa Street on eastern road. Detours:

• Access to Daimlera Street from Wrocław and Magazynowa Street: Poznańska, Głogowska Street to Głogowska/Kowalewicka Interchange, back in direction of Wrocław and through CH Auchan roundabout, than Opłotki, Sycowska, Fabianowska and Daimlera Street.

• Access to Magazynowa Street from Poznań: Poznańska and Nizinna Street in Komorniki.

• Access to Magazynowa Street from Wrocław: Nizinna Street in Komorniki.

• Access from Magazynowa Street in direction of Poznań and Wrocław: Nizinna Street in Komorniki.

Works cover changes in binder and wearing layers. The executor of the works is Strabag LLC (person to contact: Marcin Szczepański, tel. +48 695 020 857). The finalization of works is scheduled by the end of October this year.

The temporal traffic system was agreed with Provincial Police Headquarters in Poznań, City Roads Authority in Poznań, Traffic Road Management in Poznań, Urban Traffic Engineer, Komorniki Commune Office, District Road Management in Poznań and General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, Poznań division.
