Renovation works on Poznań Komorniki Interchange

On Tuesday, 16th of August this year begins pavement renovation on Poznań Komorniki Interchange, on the crossroad of trunk road DK5 and regional road DW196 with A2 motorway. The works will be conducted in two parts – first part will be divided into six stages.

The schedule of temporal traffic system:

STAGE I: 16.08 – Closure of slip road A with a passage from regional road DW196 from Poznań to A2 in direction of Świecko. Detour with slip roads H, F, D.

STAGE II: 18.08 – Closure of slip road C with a passage from A2 from Warszawa to regional road DW196 in direction of Poznań. Detour with slip roads B, H, F.

STAGE III: 22.08 – Closure of slip road B with a passage from A2 from Warszawa to trunk road DK5 in direction of Wrocław. Detour with slip road C through Głogowska to Głogowska/Kowalewicka ICE, return in direction of Wrocław. Additionally there will be a closure of slip road D with a passage from trunk road DK5 from Wrocław to A2 in direction of Świecko. Detour through Głogowska to Głogowska/Kowalewicka ICE, return with slip road A to Świecko. In the meantime the merging lane M with passage on A2 from Warszawa to Świecko will also be closed.

STAGE IV: 30.08 – Closure of slip road G with a passage from A2 from Świecko to trunk road DK5 in direction of Wrocław. Detour with slip roads F, D, B

STAGE V: 5.09 – Closure of slip road E with a passage from DK5 from Wrocław to A2 in direction of Warszawa. Detour with slip roads D, B, H

STAGE VI: 9.09 – Closure of slip road F with a passage from A2 from Świecko to DW196 in direction of Poznań. Detour with slip road G to Daimlera, Fabianowska, Sycowska and Opłotki, return in direction of Poznań. Additionally there will be a closure of slip road H with a passage from DW196 from Poznań to A2 in direction of Warszawa. Detour with Opłotki, Sycowska, Fabianowska and Daimlera to slip road E in direction of Warszawa. In the meantime the merging lane N with passage on A2 from Świecko to Warszawa will also be closed.

Works cover changes in binder and wearing layers. The executor of the works is Strabag LLC (person to contact: Marcin Szczepański, tel. +48 695 020 857). The finalization of works is scheduled by the mid September this year.

The temporal traffic system was agreed with Provincial Police Headquarters in Poznań, City Roads Authority in Poznań, Traffic Road Management in Poznań, Urban Traffic Engineer, Komorniki Commune Office, District Road Management in Poznań and General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, Poznań division.
