Renovation works on Poznań Krzesiny Interchange

On Monday, 13th of June this year begins 6-stage pavement renovation on Poznań Krzesiny Interchange, on the crossroad of trunk road S11 with A2 motorway. The works will cause passage difficulties.

The schedule of temporal traffic system:

First part of the renovation will last from 13 to 25th of June and will cover slip roads number 8, 4, 7 and 3 and also a merging lane on A2 with the passage from Świecko to Warszawa.

STAGE I: 15.06. – Closure of slip road number 8 (passage from trunk road S11 from Katowice to A2 in direction of Warszawa). The detour will be conducted through slip roads number 6, 2, 3.

STAGE II: 15.06./16.06. – Closure of slip road number 4 (passage from A2 from Świecko to trunk road S11 in direction of Katowice). The detour will be conducted through slip roads number 7, 6, 2.

STAGE III: 19.06. – Closure of slip road number 7 with passage from A2 from Świecko to trunk road S11 in direction of Poznań (detour conducted on slip road number 4 through Koninko Interchange) and slip road number 3 with passage from trunk road S11 from Poznań to A2 in direction of Warszawa (detour conducted through Koninko Interchange, return on slip road number 8). Additionally there will be a closure of merging lane on A2 from Świecko to Warszawa.

Second part of renovation will start on the 26/27th of June and last till 10th of July. The works will cover slip roads number 1, 5, 2 and 7 and also a merging lane on A2 with the passage from Warszawa to Świecko.

STAGE IV: 26/27.06. – Closure of slip road number 5 (passage from A2 from Warszawa to trunk road S11 in direction of Poznań). The detour will be conducted through slip roads number 2, 3, 7.

STAGE V: 28/29.06. – Closure of slip road number 1 (passage from trunk road S11 from Poznań to A2 in direction of Świecko). The detour will be conducted through slip roads number 3, 7, 6.

STAGE VI: 1/2.07. – Closure of slip road number 2 with passage from A2 from Warszawa to trunk road S11 in direction of Katowice (detour conducted on slip road number 5 through Franowo) and slip road number 6 with passage from trunk road S11 from Katowice to A2 in direction of Świecko (detour conducted through Franowo, return on slip road number 1). Additionally there will be a closure of merging lane on A2 from Warszawa to Świecko.

Works cover changes in binder course and surface course. The executor of the works is Strabag LLC (person to contact: Marcin Szczepański, tel. +48 695 020 857). The finalization of works is scheduled till 10th of July.

The temporal traffic system was agreed with Provincial Police Headquarters in Poznań, City Roads Authority in Poznań and General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, Poznań division.
