The Motorway driving course won another award!

Autostrada Wielkopolska was recognized for its Motorway Driving Course and efforts to improve safety on motorways and expressways. We ranked first in the “Złota Setka” [“Golden Hundred”] ranking of Głos Wielkopolski in the category “Leader in Corporate Social Responsibility – leader in activities for external stakeholders”.

The “Złota Setka Wielkopolski” ranking recognizes not only the region’s largest companies, but also the leaders in corporate social responsibility, in a special CSR ranking compiled by researchers at the Poznań University of Economics.

We are pleased that the implementation of the Motorway Driving Course social and educational program has won recognition from the researchers of the Poznań University of Economics. All the more so because this is a ranking in which the winner is determined by social sensitivity and actions for the benefit of local communities.

Our mission is to ensure safe and convenient travel for all users while enabling the economic development of local and regional communities. We implement our mission on many levels. One of them is dedicated social and educational programs aimed at drivers, to increase awareness of motorway safety rules and provide opportunities for educational development. The Motorway Driving Course is such a program with the primary goal to improve road safety by continuously enhancing drivers’ skills in techniques of driving on expressways, as their number is increasing every year in Poland. The theoretical knowledge acquired in driving courses, is supported by practical driving lessons on the motorway. The program is implemented in cooperation with Wielkopolska and Lubuskie driver training centers and ODTJs [Driver Improvement Centers].

The program is free of charge and proves needed, arouses interest of, and is accepted by, the public, showing the need for this initiative. We express our gratitude for the recognition and congratulate all the leaders of the other categories of the Competition!
